==The Best of Prague Walking Tour==

The Best of Prague Walking Tour is an excellent introduction to Prague, a fascinating journey through the highlights of Prague, discovering the key places, events and people that have shaped this enchanting city over the past 1000 years.

We start our tour in the old medieval centre of Prague, exploring the area around the Old Town Square, before strolling onto the Jewish Quarter (Josefov), once the largest Jewish ghetto in Europe. Our friendly, knowledgeable guide will explain the dramatic history, traditions and legends of the city centre.

Next, we cross Charles Bridge, one of Europe’s oldest stone bridges and take a short tram ride up the hill to Strahov Monastery, where a spectacular vista of the whole city opens up below.

As we continue on to the beautiful pilgrim site of Loreta, we walk through medieval Hradcany, before reaching the grandest sight of all, Prague Castle, the largest medieval castle complex in Europe.

Your guide will bring the dramatic history of Prague Castle to life, as we explore St. Vitus Cathedral, where kings were once crowned, before paying a visit to charming Golden Lane, home of alchemists and goldsmiths.

Finally, we descend the Prague Castle steps to return to the historical centre.

Prague Experience walking tours are led by professional, licensed English speaking guides. Walking Tours can also be in other languages (German, French, Spanish, Italian & Russian) - if required, specify this on the booking form.
