Umm... where's Malta?
In the med, just south of Sicily. 3 hours flight from Heathrow.
Malta is an archipelago of islands made up of Malta, Gozo and Comino. The main island, Malta, is 17 miles long. The capital is Valletta-are-you-better-are-you-well-well-well, often shortened to just Valletta.
The people who live in Malta (Maltesers) speak Maltese and English, and are mostly Roman Catholic, and the currency is the euro.
So, who's coming to this thing?
I defer to the spreadsheet.
And... when will that be?
The week beginning 2nd Nov 09
But where to stay?
Sheesh, what's with all the questions?
This place is only £440 a week and sleeps up to 9 people. It's in Gozo, which is the little island north of the main one. Will keep looking for other ones too though.

And how will we get there??
Flights will probably cost just over £100
What's a boy (or girl) to do in Malta, like, is there an itinerary?
There's no mad 'pack in as much as phyically possible' itinerary, I don't think it's that kind of holiday. Chill out, man! But here are some suggestions:
- Go to the beach
- Watch the girls (in bikinis) go by if you're a boy
- Watch the boys (in bikinis) go by if you're a girl
- Sample some of the fine Maltese cuisine
- Mountain biking
- Boozing
- SCUBA diving
- Going round forts
- Trying to find traditional malteasers
- Go to visit the local markets and make some delicious meals at home
- Wander round the old capital Mdina
- Go to Saint Julians "where all the nightlife is. There are many clubs and parties as well as great places to eat and just chill and listen to live music." ~ Wikitravel

- Cycling, great idea! I'm up for that (Matt)
