As an expert on all matters seduction-related, guys are constantly asking me about the best "lines" to use when they approach women. I tell them that before I teach them techniques to start conversations and flirt with women, they need to feel confident approaching women in the first place.

Now, there are all kinds of ridiculous mistakes and amusing errors that guys make when approaching women and trying to engage them in conversations. But the biggest, most fundamental mistake is this: they only approach (or think about approaching) the women they are hoping to sleep with. In other words, they only approach women when they have sexual intentions. (For most men, this means they limit their approaches to when they are in bars or nightclubs and have had a few drinks.)

Instead, you should be starting conversations with new women on a daily basis. You want to get completely comfortable with the idea of meeting new females -- whether it's the waitress who brings your coffee, or the cashier behind the counter -- and having brief, friendly, positive interactions. Make it your goal to put a smile on the face of every woman you come across -- even if the interaction only lasts 60 seconds and you simply pay her a compliment on something she is wearing.

The concept, which I call "Batting Practice," means that when you DO spot a girl you are attracted to, you won't "freeze up" and worry about what to say to her. Starting friendly conversations will have become part of your daily routine. Instead of feeling anxious about what to do next, making your approach and putting a smile on her face will be easy to do.
